Description
Flared Victorian skirt made from black silk tafetta. The pattern is suitable for day and evening wear for the Victorian lady from 1898 to 1903. The front and the upper side and back get wider only gradually, while the lower half has a strong flare and adds a lot of fullness to the hem. The intermediate seam is structuring the skirt in an interesting way and is also a very suitable area to add lace or other decoration.
Additionally the Victorian skirt is lined with linen, which adds additional volume and stiffness. So it can also be worn over a bustle very well.
