Recently I finally had the opportunity to try out some patterns from Truly Victorian. A lady ordered a new Victorian costume from me. She already had very specific requirements and chose a flared skirt and a short jacket with leg-of-mutton sleeves. Additionally she sent me the blue and black striped silk. I bought the black silk tafetta and linen lining.

I liked the patterns from Truly Victorian a lot. The have a good axplanation about custom sizing and exhaustive and understandable sewing instructions. The patterns usually also come with variants. The jacket for example has two lengths and two collars. Additionally they suggest a second pattern with some different sleeve variants. In general I was very pleased with the quality. Now I only need to expand my pattern collection. 😉
