Description
The Elizabethan corset made from black linen gives the upper body the conical shape desirable at that time. The corset is based on finds in the grave of the Pfalzgräfin Dorothea Sabina von Neuburg and a bodice made for the way effigy of Elizabeth I., dated 1550-1630. This makes the corset or bodice suitable for portrayals during the Renaissance or early Baroque.
Our corsets are lined with sturdy coutil and strenghtened with steel boning. In the back you can find lacing made from metal eyelets and corset lace to adjust the corset to every body shape.
