Beret made from blue and black wool. Berets came into fashion in the late middle ages during the 15th century and had their heyday in the renaissance during the 16th century. This quartered version is size adjustable with a fingerloop braid.

Description

Beret made from quartered blue and black wool. Berets came into fashion in the late middle ages during the 15th century and had their heyday in the renaissance during the 16th century. There the were often decorated extravagantely with feathers of embroidery. The beret was first worn by scholars and soldiers, but was soon adopted by the nobility and bourgeoisie.

This quartered version is made from pure wool and is size adjustable with a fingerloop braid. In combination with a coif it completes every late medieval costume.

Attention: Only the beret is sold here! The coifs on the pictures have to be bought separately.
