Description

This children’s dress made from indigo coloured wool (chemically dyed) is reconstructed based on the finds from Herjolfsnes, Greenland. These finds date back to the late medieval times (up to 1430) and they follow European fashion. This dress uses the pattern from find D10593.

The Herjolfsnes children’s dress consists of slightly asymmetrical front and back panels with middle gussets in the skirt part. The sleeves are made from one piece. The dress can be worn by boys and girls alike.

All seams are machine sewn. On request visible or all seams can be done by hand.
