Spanish Rose

Since my computer is still sitting around in pieces, here’s only a small work in process update. Joanna, a model from Poland asked me to create two outfits for photo shootings. You can see her work on facebook for example:

And the first outfit is almost finished. I created a sleeveless Victorian dress from velvet and lace. On top of it there is a light underbust corset made from the floral coutil that usually has to exist only as lining for my corsets. The binding is made from dark green raw silk. From the same raw silk I sewed a bolero jacket. To complement the outfit there is a small elizabethan riding hat from black velvet decorated with roses also made from velvet and raw silk.
